- I have been assigned to serve as a Small Business Advisor in Madagascar. My orientation and pre-service training will be from February 28 - May 4, 2010 and my official Volunteer service will be from May 13, 2010 to May 20, 2012.

Helpful tips:
- Write me! It's only 98 cents to send a regular letter to Madagascar...I'll be sure to write back! USPS flat rate mailing envelope (9X12") with contents less than 4lbs. is about $14.
- If you declare religious materials and draw crosses on the package, it's less likely to be stolen!
- Don't declare a value over $20.
- Write "Airmail" and "Par Avion".
- Keep packages small or use a padded envelope so it will be treated as a letter.
- Place stickers over the taped edges of the package so I can tell if it's been tampered with.
- DO NOT use DHL! They charge a high fee for all packages. FedEx is preferred, but regular USPS also works.
- Mail takes anywhere from 2 - 6 weeks to arrive.
